A catch-all feature that is enabled for a certain email mailbox will permit you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise stated, if you deactivate an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any misspelled address under the exact same domain name, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running some company, for example. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters in order to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without effort in case you have a shared hosting plan with us. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia hosting Control Panel is fully featured, yet astonishingly simple to work with, and it will enable you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be listed alphabetically in this section and to the right of each of them you will notice a mini "Catch-all" icon. Clicking on it once will enable this feature, clicking on it once more will deactivate it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be enabled without any effort in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you have created using the domains hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll find a small button conveniently located right next to each one. With only one click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice provided that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with this option already activated and there isn't active email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable the feature through the contextual menu that will surface. If any of the preconditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will inform you, but will not disable or replace anything automatically.
